Happily ever after

The moment the doors opened, she knew she was out of place; a country-girl like her did not belong in such an upper-class setting. Turning tail was not an option though, not if she wanted to have her happily ever after. So she took a step, and then another, to meet the wicked stepmother of her prince charming.
