The red string

“I’m glad you died.”

He should be grateful, the ringleader adopting a scruffy kid like him to raise as his successor, but he could not forget the unspeakable things the other did.

Nor could he forgive.

He left his favourite cello against the headstone, one string glistening under the moonlight.

Blood red.


The white-face clown usually has the highest status and is typically the ringleader.
