The crumbling facade

She looks happy they say; she looks well they say.

But they have forgotten about facades. And hers is flawless. Almost. The convincing has gotten a little tough, and she is, slowly, crumbling. The sweet nothings or his poison tongue; which should she believe?

A toxic relationship. An unhealthy one. Till now, it is love that has made her stay and fight for them, the once happy couple, but she cannot deny the ever-growing desire of freedom. She just wants to be happy.

Still, walking away is not that simple. Is it wrong to believe that someday he may change?
