Pick me. Choose me. Love me.

Today’s task: One word inspiration “choice”

Much disapproval they received
On their request to wed
Oh how much they grieved
With many tears shed

“Pick me”
She had cried
“Choose me”
She had cried

The choice she had given him
Not an easy one indeed
With their future so grim
He may make her heart bleed

“Love me”
She had cried
“Stay with me”
She had cried

Like a game of roulette
He placed his bet on love
Her words he never forget
Chasing her with wings like a dove

Without another glance
They ran to far away lands
To give themselves a chance
Their happy ever after in their hands

And my favourite quote on choice:

“Okay here it is. Your choice. It’s simple. Her or me. And I’m sure she’ s really great. But Derek, I love you, in a really, really big – pretend to like your taste in music, let you eat the last piece of cheesecake, hold a radio over my head outside your window – unfortunate way that makes me hate you, love you. So pick me. Choose me. Love me.” – Meredith Grey, Grey’s Anatomy.
