But you will never know

But you will never know

On that one dreaded day

I followed you in the snow

Like a predator stalking the prey

To that wretched hotel we travelled

Far from this town

You thought it won’t unravel

Do you think I’m a clown

With a traitorous smile

You walked into those arms

Another trip down a church aisle

You will do no such harm

I dialed a number

Exposing your distasteful crimes

While you took a slumber

They were posted in The Times

Gone was your bliss

Disappearing into the snow

Who did this, you wondered

But you will never know

Written in response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Brainwave.”

What’s the best idea you’ve ever had? Regale us with every detail of the idea — the idea itself, where it came to you, and the problem it solved.

This is my first time attempting a story in such a manner :O

I’m definitely not very good at following prompts~
